MANOU GARNATXA | CELLER GRITELLES

Vendimiado manualmente a principios de octubre. Fermentación alcohólica con pieles durante 16-18 días. Vino lleno de vida embotellado con las mínimas filtraciones y un mínimo de sulfitos. Vino de Garnacha limpio y brillante, color rojo intenso con reflejos violáceos de capa media. En nariz domina un perfume ligero y fresco de frutas rojas. El ataque en boca es suave y goloso. Su paso es largo y sedoso marcado por la frescura acídula de las frutas rojas. El post-gusto es amable y ligero. Servir con un toque de frescura a 14°-16°C y almacenar a 16°C con el fin de alargar su juventud.

NORTHEAST OF PRIORAT

In Gritelles we explore the uniqueness of the best vineyards and regions in the northeast of Montsant, in the Priorat region. We select the vineyards that best express the characteristics of the climate and the diversity of the soil (clay, limestone, slate and pebbles). The grapes transfer to the wine the personality and complexity of each vineyard and vintage.
A winery that starts its activity in the vinyards to bring the best of the territory to your glass.
Wine has been made in the Priorat since before Roman times. We continue the tradition of our ancestors.
The balance between territory, grapes and microorganisms gives us an excellent product.
 
MACABEO: The elegance of the purest yellow
The first mention of the Macabeo variety is taken from a text by Lluís Ponç d'Icard from 1564. It places the production of this variety in Camp de Tarragona, which is supplied in Barcelona together with other varieties.
 
GRENACHE NOIR: The most intense red
Grenache Noir and Carignan have been grown in the Priorat since time immemorial. The grapes extract water and minerals from clay, slate and pebble soils to offer a symphony of color and aromas that express the essence of this soil.
 
CARIGNAN: The most fragrant red
The Carignan of the Priorat and the Montsant synthesizes the molecules that give the characteristic freshness and perfume of this grape. This is made possible by the interaction of the strains with rosemary and thyme and the microorganisms that make the wine.

WINEMAKING: Harvested manually in boxes between the end of September and the beginning of October. Alcoholic fermentation with skins for 16-18 days. It is aged for approximately 12 months in 300 and 225 liter barrels with their lees.

Co-fermentation of varieties from the same farm. It has a short aging with barrels. Aged with its lees for 6-8 months.

Young red wine, without added sulphites, that has aged in the bottle, enjoying oxidation and light fermentation, detectable in the sediment that is detected on the walls of the bottle. Natural Grenache noir wine in full evolution.
