LLOPART ROSÉ BRUT | LLOPART

A very unique rosé, with the Mediterranean flavor of Monastrell. Cheerful and bright, with lively bubbles, Rosé Brut displays lush fruity aromas, where the fruits of the forest, red apple and balsamic notes shine. Short skin maceration to extract the aromas and color before pressing. Pale cherry-pink color, bright and very attractive. Well-developed bubbles, constant and small in size. Fruity exuberant aroma dominated by a variety of forest fruits along with delicate tannins. An initially potent flavor with good structure and just the right degree of acidity that maintains a perfect balance throughout its prolonged aftertaste.

Ex·Vite·Vita (Life stems from the vine)

The winegrowing tradition of the Llopart family has been rooted in the family Estate in Subirats since the XIV Century. Their 102 hectares of ecologically cultivated mountain vineyards are located on shady slopes in the highest areas of the Penedés. Llopart has been producing quality sparkling wines for more than 135 years, vigorously defending the traditional method and craftsmanship of the wine, with respect for sustainability and always seeking the authenticity of lengthy aging.

Viticulturists since 1385, Sparkling wines since 1887

The Llopart family has been growing grapes since 1385, proven by a document written in Latin that is kept in the family’s archive proving a transfer of land to Bernardus Leopardi, one of the family’s ancestors, located on the winery’s present estate, known as Can Llopart de Subirats. Over the following centuries, the family dedicated themselves to the cultivation of grapevines, wheat, and olive trees, until the late 1800’s when they committed solely to grape growing. After years of tests, the family finally released their first Cava, produced in the estate’s old Masia, or country house, in 1887.

In the 1950’s the family status as a premier sparkling wine producer was solidified, when Pere Llopart i Vilarós took over and consolidated the production of small-quantity, high-quality sparkling wine, produced in the methode champenoise style.

Quality wines from the heart of the Penedès

Llopart is famous for the quality of its unique, low-production sparkling wines, which express the terroir of its unique location. Their estate sits on a limestone mantle with a surface soil mixture of clay and siliceous components. The vineyards are cared for with the most traditional organic methods possible.

Llopart is a founder member of the new Brand, CORPINNAT, which stand for a collective European Union Brand established with the aim of distinguishing great sparkling wines made in the heart of the Penedès, from 100% organic manual harvest, 100% vinified on the premises of the winery and long aging.
